Best Weapons In Fallout New Vegas
Probably because they hated the DLC. It's clearly one of the best weapons in the game. And I knew this while playing DM with a guns character! Besides the unique gatling laser? I'm liking the plasma caster/ smitty's special. As for guns I'm all up on the Brush Gun/Medicine stick. If I had to make a list:1.
Sprtel-Wood 97002. Q-35 Matter Modulator4. Advanced LAERIf I had to choose a gun, probably the Automatic Rifle. It's probably the most underrated weapon in Fallout New Vegas except for Lucky.Posts: 3221 Joined: Tue Feb 20, 2007 9:08 am. I'd say the holorifle is pretty damn good, ammo efficient, unbreakeble with the condition mod, pretty good damage (and post hit damage to boot), scope aim atached. My only gripe with it, is that it's basically a plasma weapon. You have to get a good aim to snipe targets moving around. That where the Advanced LAER comes in with my EW guy. It deals only slightly less damage than the Holorifle (with Laser Commander) but is about as fast as a regular gun, being a laser weapon.

The downside to it is the constant need for repairs, but he's got more than enough caps, weapon repair kits and WRK components to keep up.Posts: 3386 Joined: Tue Jun 13, 2006 10:00 am. If I had to make a list:1. Sprtel-Wood 97002. Q-35 Matter Modulator4.

I didn't understand at first that it wasn't supposed to be used to fight holograms and that the Ghost People were THAT hard to bring down. I was reading the Wiki when I read the stats on it and knew I must have missed something. Holy crap did I ever.Posts: 3377 Joined: Sat Aug 25, 2007 8:55 pm. Ignoring the durability it is a pretty decent weapon and by the time I do Old World Blues I'll usually have more caps then I could possibly spend in one playthrough, but I always sell it just because it ends up costing more then its worth. I'm always economicly shrewd in every playthrough, even when I do have over 70 000 caps.Posts: 3369 Joined: Fri Oct 20, 2006 10:51 am.

Besides, I play with the EVE mod, and I just love the way it launches enemies into the air and explodes them into tiny ash chunks whenever it scores a critical hit.Posts: 3378 Joined: Wed Jun 06, 2007 6:26 pm. As long as I'm at a comfortable distance I enjoy the satisfyingly expensive Fat Man. It's not often practical though so I think I'll stick with my modded out varmint rifle and/or fully kitted vanilla laser rifle, plus a recharger pistol-preferably the MF Hyperbreeder Alpha. I also dig Thump Thump, Love and Hate, ballistic fists, and Chance's knife.
Later on in the game, Blood-Nap.The 25mm APW is also quite lovely. Seems to take a while for all three mods to appear in vendor inventories though. I'd really love grenade machineguns if I didn't maim myself with them so often.Posts: 3419 Joined: Fri Mar 16, 2007 9:08 am.
