Frigidare Slide In Range Installation
Rated 5 out of5 byGolfgal17 fromGreat looking and highly functional! I just moved into a home we gutted and of course put in a brand new kitchen. I had the model of this stove when it first came out about 10 years ago. I loved it then and never had any problems with it for the 10 years we lived with it. This new model is even better: the quick boil burner is amazingly fast, the convection option is great for making pizza very crisp, and the new design of the oven racks with the handle section is very convenient for sliding open the rack. The stove is very good looking and looks like a very expensive, upscale appliance, when in fact, if is reasonably priced. The steam clean option is new and I look forward to using it.
Rated 4 out of5 byFred and Ethyl fromDelivers solid cooking performance. Having used the range for two months, we are impressed with the responsiveness of the stove top and the oven. The controls and settings are intelligently designed, easy to use, and - importantly - respond quickly. In other words, when you're ready to cook, the stove and oven heat very quickly. One has to be careful in using old pans that have collected soot on their bottoms because the heat transfers the soot to the stove top, and it takes effort to remove that soot. The instructions recommend against using cast iron - my pan of preference. I continue to use the cast iron and pay the price by cleaning the stove top after each use. I am almost persuaded to buy a new cast iron pan.

Slide In Range Stainless Steel
Was baking a turkey for thanksgiving and when I tried to remove the turkey from the oven the rack collapsed and my turkey fell to the bottom of the oven. Thankfully I had it on the very bottom rack so it didn’t have far to fall. I tried using a different rack and it did the same thing. I since checked each rack level in the oven and noticed that the racks are either not wide enough or the grooves they sit on don’t come out far enough because there is a gap between the rack and the wall of the oven as you can see in my picture. I have only baked lightweight things in the oven like pizzas, cookies and casseroles, so I never noticed this before, until the rack fell off the grooves with my turkey on it. During our remodel we decided we wanted a slide in for our next stove to replace the previous 20 year old Frigidaire.
We never realized how much faster cooking time would be. The wife wanted fast boil as a feature with the knobs in front. This stove did not disappoint.
Our cook times went from and hour down to half an hour. The wife says if we ever decide to move that stove is going with us.
The only complaint we have is the fan that comes on when cooking but we have already gotten used to it and is no longer an issue. We love this stove! This review was collected as part of a promotion. Rated 5 out of5 byRon fromA swell product This is a very well designed and performing range. The controls are right up front (no reaching over hot burners) and they are intuitive and easy to learn.
This range has many advanced features including a warming burner on the stovetop, a convection oven, a ceramic cooktop that is easy to clean, a steam cleaning feature in the oven, versatile oven racks, and excellent lighting in the oven.I installed it myself and installation was straightforward and easy. The design is clean and the all-white appearance was a plus in our white appliance kitchen (white is making a comeback folks! - Stainless is on the way out!) The range hides fingerprints very well and integrates with our overall kitchen decor beautifully.

Rated 4 out of5 byFlorida Flip fromKitchen makeover We purchased the slide-in range to replace a 12 year old builder's grade range. Our new Frigidaire range has so many new features we have not used them all yet. How to get mods on sims 4. However, we like it's ability to heat up quickly and the multiple burners.
The black glass cooktop is really space age pretty but shows every smudge and spill so we are always cleaning it. One issue we have is that the range runs for a long time after use venting the heated oven air from the top of the door area into the kitchen after the oven is turned off. Our previous 'cheap' oven shut off more quickly and did not vent from the front. I view the venting as a poor design choice. Otherwise, we are very happy with the range and it meets our expectations.
