As a baseline, I'm using and (Ida body + Valkyr face) for females.

Note that if you use FSM or any similar high resolution textures, I highly recommend that you package them in a ba2 for performance. As for the NPCs, I use these mods in order:. This is my baseline. Nothing amazing, but most will be overwritten anyway,., for NPCs such as Sturges, Marcy, and Kellogg. Most get overwritten.

for a variety of NPCs. for NPCs such as Desdemona, Scribe Haylen, etc. for Curie and Cait. This is closer to vanilla, which I prefer. I only kept Maxson. A custom mod to put back Ellie and Farenheit to their default appearance.Everything overwrites in an order that I've established, and I'm pretty happy with the result.

You need to check the requirements. Some mods will demand, and probably some others that I've forgotten. (Edit: actually, most will need hair mods. And )For NPCs in general, you have mods such as or, but I don't use them so I can't really say how well they look or perform. Alright, if you really did spend some time looking, let me point you to.

I wrote it about a month ago and it goes into pretty deep detail about how to use the Nexus search function. Nexus has an advanced search function that's pretty good, but it's basically hidden. There is literally no reason to spend more than a few seconds looking for mods that have both 'clean' and 'face' in the title - those are obvious search terms. So, I assume something went wrong with the search process. The thread I linked should help with that.Plus, Nexus has a bunch of pages that highlight the most popular mods from certain time frames. If you're looking for new mods, they're definitely worth checking out.Hope that's helpful.

Oh, read your TL;DR and a quick glance at the text. Let me clarify that I do know of the various methods of searching, I've actively modded since 2011, whilst I might not be updated about modding programs and updates, I do know how to search and find. But it sometimes is faster to ask to get a group of people's opinions when you don't have time. When I search for mods after returning from a break, I usually check through my old used mods and try to find replacements or updated and better mods of them. Then I check top files all time and top files of the month.

I check downloaded and endorsed of several timeframes. If I'm searching after something specific I might search for a name, or I check categories that the mod usually is in. For example model and textures, or NPC category etc. For this I also check several timeframes. Afterwards I search outside of nexus for description and etc.But thanks for the tip nonetheless!.
